Infoblox Systems Engineer – DDI Transformation & Migration

Job Duties

• Lead the design, implementation, and transformation of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) services in a large-scale hybrid enterprise environment.

• Architect, build, and deploy Infoblox Grid infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and high availability.

• Design and implement enterprise DNS architectures and next-generation DDI solutions aligned with business and infrastructure modernization goals.

• Lead the migration of Microsoft DNS services to Infoblox, including architecture planning, deployment strategy, cutover execution, and post-migration optimization.

• Deploy, configure, and integrate Infoblox appliances across datacenter, cloud, and hybrid network environments.

• Design and implement integrations between Infoblox and Azure, AWS, automation platforms, and enterprise infrastructure services.

• Drive DDI modernization initiatives, including multi-tenant DNS architectures, platform transformation, infrastructure lifecycle evolution, and service standardization.

• Develop and implement automation and orchestration solutions using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

• Design and execute cloud transformation initiatives involving DDI services and related infrastructure components.

• Define and implement DNS, DHCP, and IPAM security standards, governance models, and performance optimization strategies.

• Lead technical discovery, architecture assessments, deployment planning, testing, and migration validation activities.

• Partner with Network, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to deliver large-scale transformation projects.

• Produce architecture diagrams, implementation plans, migration runbooks, operational transition documentation, and technical standards.

Job Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Infoblox engineering, implementation, and platform transformation experience within complex enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in Infoblox NIOS, Grid Architecture, DDI platform deployment, and enterprise-scale infrastructure design.

• Proven experience leading Microsoft DNS to Infoblox migration projects.

• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise DNS architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Deep knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS security technologies (DNSSEC, RPZ), and enterprise networking principles.

• Experience with DDI modernization programs, platform transformations, cloud integrations, datacenter migrations, and enterprise infrastructure initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Infoblox deployment methodologies, architectural best practices, and migration strategies.

• Experience integrating Infoblox with Azure, AWS, automation frameworks, and enterprise ecosystem platforms.

• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.

• Experience creating automated deployment, provisioning, and orchestration solutions.

• Strong architecture, engineering, analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

• Ability to lead technical workshops, migration planning sessions, and cross-functional infrastructure projects.
