Data Analytics Unit

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Informatica PowerExchange components.
• Configure and manage PowerExchange for CDC (Change Data Capture) from various source systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, VSAM, etc.).
• Administer PowerExchange Listener, Logger, and CAPX components.
• Monitor and manage data replication and data movement processes.
• Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, performance, and data capture latency.
• Manage PowerExchange configuration files and parameter settings.
• Work closely with Informatica PowerCenter / IICS teams for integration.
• Ensure high availability, failover setup, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Optimize performance for near real-time data integration.
• Maintain system logs, monitor alerts, and ensure system health.
• Implement and enforce data security and compliance policies.
• Support upgrades, patches, and migration activities.

Additional Responsibilities

• 29 years of experience in Informatica administration or data integration platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerExchange.
• Strong understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) concepts.
• Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of ETL tools (PowerCenter / IICS).
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience in troubleshooting data integration and connectivity issues.
• Understanding of networking and data transfer protocols.
