Information Engineer | Offshore Energy & Digital Engineering

For this position, we are looking for candidate who are already based in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate and hold EU passport.

Our client is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation in infrastructure, energy and offshore projects. Through innovation and digitalisation, and cutting-edge engineering, they are helping shape the future of offshore energy.

Currently they are on a lookout for an Information Engineer . Someone who will play a key role in ensuring that engineering data is structured, reliable, and accessible throughout complex offshore projects. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, helping them work smarter through effective data management, digital tools, and industry standards.

We are looking for someone who has background working on engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Analyse project-specific information requirements and data needs
• Set up and maintain project tag structures and information models
• Manage and coordinate engineering data deliverables
• Support engineering teams in adopting digital tools and standards
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance across projects
• Drive digital improvement initiatives and process optimisation
• Enhance engineering databases, reporting, and data analytics capabilities
• Contribute to the standardisation of engineering information structures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Science, Technical Business Administration or a related field
• Strong interest in the combination of engineering and data-driven processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within EPC projects and/or offshore wind is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, data engineering, or digital information management
• Familiarity with standards such as CFIHOS, IEC CIM, and ISO 15926 is beneficial
• Experience with tools such as Tekla, Aveva E3D, or enterprise architecture frameworks is an advantage
