Information Management Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Information Analyst to join our client, a leading local government organisation based in Sydney CBD, on a contract through to the end of the financial year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a records and information management professional to apply their expertise within a large, complex organisation, contributing to compliance, information governance and effective records management practices.

The Opportunity Working within a busy and collaborative environment, you will help ensure records and information are managed in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory requirements. You will bring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and the ability to interpret records management requirements and translate them into practical outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide specialist advice and support across records and information management compliance.
• Apply your knowledge of disposal authorities, sentencing and disposal processes.
• Support the effective management of records in line with relevant requirements and organisational policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate and high-quality documentation to support records management activities.
• Work with records management systems to maintain compliant and effective information management practices.

Do you have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Records and Information Management, or significant equivalent experience and competencies.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in records and information management compliance, disposal authorities, sentencing and disposal within large and complex organisations.
• At least three years' experience using records management systems such as OpenText Content Manager (TRIM/Records Manager) or similar platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work through complex information management requirements.
