Information Security Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Information Security Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will strengthen security operations by advancing threat detection, response automation, and intelligence-driven analysis across the SOC. The position will partner closely with data science and security intelligence teams to improve how alerts are triaged, investigations are supported, and threats are hunted. It is well suited for a seasoned cybersecurity professional who can combine technical depth with strong judgment, documentation discipline, and mentorship in a remote environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $137,800 – $180,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced malware analysis and extract IOCs for Threat Intelligence
• Develop and deploy SOAR automations to improve SOC efficiency
• Collaborate with the Data Science Team on AI-enabled capabilities
• Enhance threat hunting with the Security Intelligence team
• Optimize alerting platforms through rule development
• Act as a mentor and escalation point for junior analysts
• Perform QA responsibilities and ensure thorough documentation

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Security Operations or a cybersecurity technical role
• 1+ year working with AI models in a SOC environment
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python
• 2+ years of experience with SOAR platforms
• Ability to support off-hours escalations
