Information Security Analyst (SOC)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts across multiple security platforms.
• Analyse phishing attempts, endpoint threats, identity anomalies, and cloud security events.
• Perform incident investigation, containment, and remediation activities for security incidents.
• Correlate data from various sources to determine scope, impact, and root cause.
• Escalate high-severity incidents and collaborate with Incident Response, IT, and Security teams.
• Document investigations, findings, and response actions clearly and accurately.
• Tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Contribute to security automation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
• Participate in incident response exercises and readiness activities.
• Skills: Alert Investigation, Incident Response, SIEM (Splunk), EDR, SOAR (Cortex XSOAR/TORQ/Google Chronicle)
