Information Security Architect (part time)

We are currently looking for a part-time (4 hours/day) Information Security Architect to join an international UEFA Project, supporting the definition, governance, and continuous improvement of security architecture across complex transformation initiatives. The role focuses on cloud security, microservices, IAM, DevSecOps and Zero Trust, ensuring that solutions and migrations align with security and architecture standards. You will work closely with Solution Architects, DevOps, IAM teams and external vendors.

What you will do...

• Support the definition and maintenance of security architecture foundations, principles, standards and guardrails.
• Review implementations, migrations and integrations to ensure alignment with defined security architecture principles.
• Provide recommendations and technical input for architecture validation, reviews and exception handling.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, DevOps teams and external vendors throughout the programme delivery lifecycle.
• Perform continuous security reviews of projects to ensure adherence to established security foundations.
• Support the integration of security throughout the SDLC and DevSecOps lifecycle.
• Promote and reinforce Secure-by-Design and Zero Trust principles across design, development and migration activities.
• Support the IAM team from an architecture and design perspective, particularly in the context of IAM migration.
• Review IAM-related designs and ensure alignment with enterprise identity principles and security foundations.
• Contribute to improving the consistency of IAM implementations across programme projects.

Technical Skills required...

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Security Architect, preferably within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in cloud and multi-cloud security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and API security.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles.
• Solid knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Good knowledge of SSO, OIDC and SAML.
• Strong understanding of RBAC and Least Privilege models.
• Experience reviewing and supporting IAM architecture and designs in collaboration with dedicated IAM teams.
• Experience contributing to security architecture blueprints, security foundations and reference patterns.
• Experience performing architecture reviews and assessing compliance with defined security principles.
