Information Security Engineer

As an Information Security Engineer , you will play a critical role in safeguarding the systems, applications, and infrastructure that support millions of member transactions and partner interactions. You will help strengthen DAVI's security posture through proactive threat detection, security engineering, compliance governance, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Implement and maintain security controls including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), intrusion detection, and endpoint security solutions across DAVI's technology landscape.
• Support the implementation of secure software development practices and ensure security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assess and strengthen security configurations across cloud platforms and on-premise environments.
• Manage endpoint detection and response (EDR) and managed detection and response (MDR) solutions to monitor and mitigate security threats.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination, remediation tracking, and security monitoring activities.
• Coordinate security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
• Support compliance readiness for ISO 27001, NIST, and Philippine data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.
• Review and assess third-party vendors and partners to ensure security requirements and contractual obligations are met.
• Support Enterprise AI governance initiatives by evaluating security, privacy, and risk considerations related to emerging technologies.
• Promote security awareness across the organization and provide practical security guidance to business stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or a related technical security role.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, WAF, encryption, EDR/MDR, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
• Experience conducting vendor security reviews, third-party risk assessments, and security governance activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI governance, enterprise AI security, or emerging technology risk management is a strong advantage.
