Information Security Officer

About the role

The Information Security Officer is responsible for protecting the Bank's information assets, systems, networks, applications, customer information, and digital banking environment against cybersecurity threats and unauthorized access.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
• Establish appropriate information-security controls
• Monitor security events and potential cybersecurity incidents
• Coordinate investigation and response to security incidents
• Identify vulnerabilities and security weaknesses
• Monitor user access to critical systems
• Ensure appropriate access approval and segregation of duties
• Monitor security controls for digital banking systems
• Develop employee cybersecurity awareness programs
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and IT

About you

• At least 3–5 years of information-security, cybersecurity, IT risk, or related experience
• Experience in incident response and security monitoring
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience in banking, fintech, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred
• Certifications related to the position
• Experience dealing with BSP IT Technology Risk
• Must be willing to travel to Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, as needed for business operations.
