Information Security Officer

Job Summary

The Information Security Officer supports the implementation of basic information security practices to protect company systems and data. This role focuses on monitoring, documentation, and assisting in maintaining compliance with internal security policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining information security policies and procedures
• Monitor basic security alerts and report any unusual activity
• Support regular checks on user access and permissions
• Help document security incidents and assist in investigations
• Coordinate with IT for routine security-related tasks (e.g., password resets, access control)
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive company data
• Assist in conducting basic security awareness reminders for employees
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to security compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and data security concepts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
