Position Function: The Information Systems Specialist manages and administers the district's student information system and business office system to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all electronic information systems that support school district operations. The role involves collecting, analyzing, preparing, and submitting required state reports, as well as conducting and attending meetings and delivering software demonstrations to support staff in the effective use of these systems.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.; college degree preferred
• At least five years of experience managing a Skyward SMS or Qmlativ SIS
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Prefer experience with database management and report writing
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Willingness to learn new information and concepts
• Strong follow-through on tasks and projects
• Self-starter with proven reliability and personal integrity
• Current Certificate of Health on file in the district office
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Starting Salary: $35.00/hour - commensurate with experience

Job Category: Classified, 8 hrs/day (40 hrs/week), 250 workday calendar
