Information Systems Specialist

As an Information Systems Specialist, you will support the daily operations, maintenance, and reliability of the organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the team to troubleshoot technical issues, assist with system administration, and contribute to IT projects while developing your technical expertise.

Experience & Skills

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT, Information Systems, IT Support, or a related field, including relevant internship experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and Microsoft operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and server environments.
• Basic understanding of software installation, system configuration, and IT infrastructure operations.
• Interest in developing technical skills in network and server administration, IT operations, and infrastructure management.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop a long-term career in Information Technologies.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations and maintenance of the organization's information systems infrastructure.
• Assist in identifying and resolving hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of network and server infrastructures.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, installations, and technical improvements.
• Assist with software installation, application deployment, system configuration, and license management.
• Support the procurement, setup, inventory tracking, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and equipment.
• Provide technical support to internal users and ensure timely resolution or escalation of IT-related requests.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving IT operations and system efficiency.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and continuously develop technical knowledge and skills.
