Information Systems Support Specialist-OH

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Information Systems Support Specialist to support and enhance the organization's business applications, enterprise systems, and operational processes. This position serves as a critical link between technology and business operations by providing application support, resolving system issues, and helping users efficiently utilize company systems.

The Information Systems Support Specialist will collaborate with departments across the organization to troubleshoot business system challenges, support technology initiatives, improve processes, and ensure users receive exceptional support and training.

Business Systems Support

• Provide day-to-day support for ERP systems and other business-critical applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, data, and user-related issues.
• Assist users with system functionality, best practices, and business process questions.
• Coordinate with software vendors and internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve system issues.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades, implementations, and enhancements.
• Maintain system documentation, and application configurations as required.

Process Improvement & System Enhancement

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for system and workflow improvements.
• Recommend and support automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Document business requirements, workflows, procedures, and system changes.
• Assist with projects involving data integration, software implementations, and business system enhancements.
• Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities to better leverage existing technologies.

User Training & Documentation

• Train and support users on ERP and other business applications.
• Develop and maintain user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
• Provide ongoing support to improve system adoption and user effectiveness.
• Assist in creating and maintaining knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Promote technology best practices and standard operating procedures across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, or enterprise software.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
