POSITION DEFINITION

Under executive direction of the Court Executive Officer (CEO), the Information Technology & Facilities Director is a member of the Court's senior management team and serves as the Court's working director for information technology and facilities. The Director leads Court-wide information technology strategy, technology modernization, cybersecurity, systems reliability, facilities coordination, emergency preparedness, continuity, and assigned court security planning functions. In a small-court environment, the Director combines leadership and management responsibility with hands-on technical and administrative work and may directly support Court-wide priorities when staffing, urgency, risk, or operational needs require.

The Director is expected to maintain a strong working understanding of the Court’s case management system and how system configuration, business processes, legislative and Judicial Council changes, statewide reporting requirements, and data quality affect case processing, courtroom functions, public service, financial processes, records, and other Court-wide business functions. The position supervises assigned staff and works collaboratively with the Director of Operations, Director of Finance, and other managers to ensure technology and facilities systems are properly aligned with business requirements, compliance obligations, and Court-wide priorities.
