Information Technology Business Analyst

We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team and help drive the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions. This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to optimize Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH), Inventory, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions, with a strong focus on Master Data Management (MDM) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who can translate business needs into scalable technology solutions while helping improve data quality, system functionality, and business processes.

What You’ll Do:

Oracle PDH & Product Data Management

• Configure Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH) based on business requirements.
• Manage Item Templates, Item Classes, and Extensible Flexfields (EFFs).
• Help establish and maintain consistent product data governance and quality standards.

New Item Requests & Workflow Management

• Design, implement, and maintain New Item Request (NIR) workflows and approval processes.
• Improve product data creation, approval, and lifecycle management processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and automation.

Oracle SCM & Inventory

• Provide functional support for Oracle Fusion Inventory and SCM modules.
• Troubleshoot issues and help resolve day-to-day business and system needs.
• Support RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements) components and related system functionality.

Master Data Management & Integrations

• Serve as a key functional resource for data integrity, security, and confidentiality across MDM and S2P solutions.
• Support and monitor integrations between upstream and downstream systems.
• Identify and address data or integration issues that impact business processes.

Projects & Business Initiatives

• Participate in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support technology and business integrations associated with mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Lead or participate in stakeholder workshops and business process mapping sessions.
• Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, system usability, and overall user experience.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and provide recommendations based on business needs.

What You’ll Bring:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Stakeholder & Business Analysis Experience

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Experience leading workshops and mapping business processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with both business and technology teams.

Documentation & Testing

• Experience documenting system functionality, business processes, and requirements.
• Ability to develop test plans and support functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Experience creating training materials, procedures, and other user documentation.

Problem Solving & Communication

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and communicate alternative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, process improvement, and system reliability.
