Senior Business Analyst

TCS is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment where technology and business come together to create meaningful impact. This role plays a key part in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions that drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong and detail-oriented professional with experience in machine learning, large language models, and data-driven systems, capable of solving complex problems and collaborating effectively within cross-functional, global teams in a dynamic, multi-initiative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Define business requirements and build application and process specifications aligned with business and technical strategies.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, documented, and delivered.
• Identify upstream and downstream system, process, and data impacts.
• Propose alternatives or remediation options and clearly communicate trade-offs.
• Create process flows, data models, and other visual representations of systems.
• Support implementation activities, including testing, training, and data migration.
• Track system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Troubleshoot system issues in partnership with technical teams.

Technical Requirements & Expertise

• 8-10 years of overall experience, with 6-8 years of relevant business analysis experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of IT systems, software development methodologies, and database concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of business processes, operations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making.
• Knowledge of asset and wealth management is valuable.
• Basic understanding of SQL or Python, cloud platforms, UX principles, BPMN, and automation is beneficial.
• Relevant business analysis certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are a plus.
