Information Technology Engineer

Context:

To support the growth of IKOS Belgium, we are looking for experienced Business Analysts, Functional Analysts and IT Project Managers to contribute to high-impact projects within the railway and mobility sector.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze and challenge business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories and process flows.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, developers, architects and testers.
• Facilitate workshops and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Support system integrations, data exchanges and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, development and testing activities.
• Coordinate project planning, risks, dependencies and delivery activities.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project governance.
• Deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Analyst or IT Project Manager.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process modelling and functional analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of BPMN, UML, user stories or similar methodologies.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.
• Willingness to work on-site in Brussels when required.

Plus:

• Experience in railway, public transport, logistics, aviation, utilities or telecom.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, SQL or data analytics.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure or SAFe.
• Project management experience within digital or IT environments.
