About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure and Service Management professional to support Scotiabank’s US IT Expansion Program within Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP).

This role will coordinate day-to-day IT infrastructure activities for the US region, partnering with global technology teams to support infrastructure initiatives, service delivery, incident resolution, audit requirements, and regulatory remediation.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience supporting audit and regulatory compliance initiatives, preferably within banking or financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary US point of contact for IT infrastructure requests, coordinating with global IT teams to streamline communication and align priorities.
  • Support infrastructure initiatives across servers, networks, storage, and data center services.
  • Coordinate service management activities to ensure alignment with US regulatory requirements, service levels, and risk expectations.
  • Assist in resolving high-severity infrastructure incidents through technical coordination, escalation, and collaboration with global support teams.
  • Communicate incident updates, planned changes, service disruptions, and operational impacts to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate IT audit inquiries, documentation, evidence collection, and timely responses across relevant teams.
  • Track infrastructure remediation activities, audit findings, risks, action items, and delivery milestones.
  • Monitor service performance and prepare management reports, status updates, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Support cross-functional teams in meeting project deadlines and operational commitments.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT service management, or infrastructure service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure domains, including servers, networks, storage, and data center operations.
  • Experience coordinating infrastructure projects, service requests, incidents, or operational activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data consolidation, analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create executive-ready presentations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with regulatory remediation, IT audit findings, risk and controls, or compliance initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional remediation efforts and tracking actions through closure.
  • Familiarity with major incident management, escalation processes, service-level reporting, and IT governance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate combines strong IT infrastructure knowledge with service management, stakeholder coordination, and audit or regulatory remediation experience. Candidates who have supported infrastructure governance or remediation initiatives within a banking environment are especially encouraged to apply.
