Information Technology Intern (On-The-Job Training)

About the role

The IT Intern will support the IT team in providing technical assistance, maintaining IT systems and equipment, and performing basic troubleshooting and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to IT operations in a professional workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
• Provide technical support to employees and escalate complex issues to the IT team.
• Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Support inventory and documentation of IT assets and equipment.
• Assist with user account setup, access management, and software installation.
• Perform routine IT maintenance and system checks.
• Assist with IT-related projects and other tasks assigned by the IT team.

About you

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and work collaboratively with the IT team.
• Must be able to complete the required internship hours of their academic program.
