Information Technology Intern

Job Description:

Technical Support & Network Tasks:

l First-level helpdesk support: Respond to user tickets, troubleshoot hardware/software issues (Windows, Office 365, printers, email, etc.)

l Basic network monitoring and reporting (using existing tools)

l Hardware inventory management and setup (PCs, laptops, peripherals)

l User account management and access provisioning

l Assist with routine maintenance, patching, and backups

l On-site support for meetings/conferences

Programming & Automation Tasks:

l ·Maintain and improve existing scripts and internal tools, including the email signature generator previously developed

l ·Develop a waybill creation system for the E-commerce team with integration to Mabang apps (API connectivity, form generation, tracking features)

l ·Support and maintain the tangojet.ph website (updates, bug fixes, new features as requested)

l ·Develop and maintain simple automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for repetitive IT and business processes

l ·Assist with internal tool development, data processing, and system integrations

l Documentation, and testing of all developed solutions

Supervision & Training:

Direct supervision by IT Manager

l Shadowing opportunities with Network Administrator

l Clear weekly check-ins and task tracking (e.g., via ticketing system)

l Training on company-specific tools and security policies

Note: This structured plan ensures a progressive learning experience, practical exposure, and portfolio-building opportunities. The interns may have the chance to rotate in other department. The tasks may subject to change or receive additional tasks given by the direct superior.

Location:

BGC, Taguig (full-time onsite)

Duration:

At least 300 hours / 4 months

Open to both academic and voluntary interns
