Senior IT Service Manager | Oracle Cloud | Contract

📍 Location: Edinburgh / Glasgow (hybrid)

⏱ Contract: 12 months initial, extension possible

💷 Rate: c.£600-£650/day (inside IR35)

The role

A leading Public Sector organisation is looking for a Senior IT Service Manager to set up and run support for a business-critical Oracle Cloud platform. You’ll start by supporting a major new service launch, then take ownership of day-to-day service delivery.

What you’ll do

• Build and run the support service, with clear processes and SLAs
• Manage performance across internal teams and external suppliers, including Oracle
• Keep critical services running and fix problems quickly
• Report on performance to senior stakeholders
• Drive continual service improvement

What you’ll need

• ✅ Experience establishing and managing an Oracle Fusion/OCI support team
• ✅ Proven supplier and managed service provider management
• ✅ A track record of setting up support processes, SLAs and reporting
• ✅ ITIL or similar ITSM knowledge
• ✅ A valid Basic Disclosure certificate, and the ability to pass baseline security checks
