Information Technology Sourcing Manager

At TCS we are looking for IT Sourcing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with IT, Finance, Legal and business leaders to align sourcing outcomes to priorities and roadmaps.

• Build and execute IT sourcing strategies to maximize value, manage risk and support business unit objectives.

• Lead RFx events end-to-end: scope, build tenders, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercials and present award recommendations.

• Use spend analytics, benchmarks, and cost models to deliver decision-ready options with clear trade-offs.

• Negotiate and contract in line with corporate standards to mitigate risk and protect value.

• Drive cross-functional execution and negotiations; anticipate impacts from changing requirements, cost targets, timelines and volumes.

• Make sound decisions on complex, cross-functional issues; communicate risks, recommendations and next steps.

• Manage a portfolio of sourcing projects and deadlines; improve processes and drive best-practice adoption across the Source-to-Contract lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of Sourcing (or related work experience) with a depth of experience Sourcing in the IT Category.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a large matrixed organization. 2+ years of experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above). Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT or a related field.

• Proven experience Sourcing in the IT category across software, hardware and services.

• Proven experience running multiple RFx events simultaneously.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, project management and conflict-resolution skills.

• High EQ and strong stakeholder/customer orientation; comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

• Strong analytical capability (spend analytics, cost modeling, what-if analysis) and proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms.

• Strategic and creative thinker who can structure complex problems and drive practical solutions.

• Working knowledge of IT supplier markets, subcategories, leading vendors and key industry trends.

• Track record of delivering year-over-year, multi-million-dollar savings and measurable value outcomes.
