Information Technology Specialist

IT Specialist Boston Mass.

Candidate profile: Look for someone with 2+ years of IT support/systems administration , strong Mac + SaaS + endpoint/device-management experience, who is comfortable being very hands-on.

This is hybrid in Boston—Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office.

1. Employee IT Support & Device Management

This is the hands-on, day-to-day IT side:

• Support Boston office + remote U.S. employees
• New-hire onboarding/offboarding
• Set up laptops, accounts, permissions, and access
• Manage Mac endpoints and device lifecycle
• Troubleshoot Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Notion
• Experience with JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune, Okta or similar
• Procurement and inventory of laptops/equipment Port io IT Specialist

2. Systems, Infrastructure & Security

This is the more technical/operational side:

• Manage office networks and local infrastructure
• Coordinate vendors, hardware deliveries, and new-office technology
• Support network installation and administration
• Maintain security/configuration standards
• Help ensure SOC 2 compliance
• Serve as the main IT person for North America
• Work independently with global IT, Security, HR, and Facilities
