Information Technology Support Engineer

A fast-growing technology and cybersecurity consultancy is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its Client Support team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with enterprise and financial services clients, delivering high-quality technical support while gaining exposure to cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and IT automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and onsite technical support across end-user devices, cloud platforms, infrastructure, and security systems.
• Act as an escalation point for junior support engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, networking, and application issues.
• Take ownership of incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication in line with service level agreements.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve critical technical issues.
• Provision hardware, deploy software, and support end-user devices, including laptops and workstations.
• Monitor systems and respond to operational and security alerts.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, troubleshooting records, and root cause analyses.
• Ensure all support activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and security best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT support experience, ideally within an MSP or financial services environment.
• Strong experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Hands-on administration of Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and TCP/IP.
• Experience supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted support platforms.
• Understanding of identity management, endpoint security, and IT security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a client-focused approach.
• Fluent English communication skills.
