Information Technology Support Officer

About the Opportunity

Hays Technology is partnering with a well-established organisation based in Malaga to recruit an experienced Level 2 IT Support Technician for an initial 8-week contract to provide leave coverage.

This is a hands-on support role suited to someone who enjoys working directly with users, resolving technical issues, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You'll be supporting a diverse user base across a broad range of technologies and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 desktop and end-user support both on-site and remotely
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations through the IT service management process
• Perform user administration, asset management, and software deployment
• Configure and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Collaborate with internal support teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple regions
• Assist with project initiatives and technology rollouts
• Support disaster recovery activities when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Level 2 IT Support or Desktop Support role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows environments
• Experience with Intune, endpoint management, and device administration
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Should be available to start within a week's time.
