Part-Time IT Support Technician (Tier 1)

Hybrid System Solutions (Barbados) Ltd is looking for a motivated Tier 1 IT Support Technician to join our team part-time, 2 days per week during normal business hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently studying (IT, Computer Science, or a related field) who wants real-world, hands-on experience while building a tech career. We invest in growth — as you gain confidence and experience, there's real room to take on more responsibility and expand your role over time.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing first-line technical support to end users (help desk tickets, password resets, basic troubleshooting)
• Assisting with hardware and software setup, installs, and maintenance
• Escalating more complex issues to senior IT staff
• Documenting issues and resolutions clearly
• Learning our systems, tools, and processes hands-on

What we're looking for:

• Currently studying (IT-related field preferred, but a strong interest in tech and eagerness to learn matters most)
• Available at least 6 hours, two days per week, during standard business hours
• Comfortable with basic troubleshooting (Windows/Mac, common software, networking basics)
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Reliable, coachable, and eager to grow into more responsibility
