Information Technology System Administrator

We are looking for an IT specialist to support Microsoft 365, virtualized server infrastructure, network, and business applications. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot issues independently, work with business users, and escalate complex problems when needed.

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or application support.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), user and group management, access permissions, and multi-factor authentication.
• Experience supporting virtual machines in a VMware environment, including basic administration and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Practical experience with SQL, including writing queries to retrieve and analyse data and troubleshoot application issues.
• Practical experience with Python for scripting, automation, or working with application data and APIs.
• Experience working with monitoring systems to track infrastructure and application health, investigate alerts, and identify issues proactively.
• Understanding networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls (Cisco and FortiGate family).
• Experience supporting business applications and working with users to reproduce issues, identify their cause, and coordinate resolution. Familiarity with Power BI, Retool, or similar platforms is desirable.
• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and follow change-management procedures.
• Good communication skills and a service-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI and CRM systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and an “everything as code” approach, including infrastructure as code, configuration management, and version control.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery, endpoint management, ITSM/ticketing tools, and security best practices.
• Experience working with modern AI tools
