What they need

Role Overview: We have Brussels, Belgium location as well along with Amsterdam.

The Senior Consultant participates in architecture, technical strategy, and design of cloud networking solutions.

This role facilitates technical discussions during pre-sales engagements, utilizing knowledge of the services portfolio and broader multi-vendor expertise to advise customers on the most suitable solutions.

The Senior Consultant leads pilots and proofs of concept from a technical standpoint, ensuring that the appropriate success criteria are tested, and works with engineering teams to support new features where required.

For large rollouts, the role supports delivery teams by producing designs and helping define migration strategies. The Senior Consultant acts as the technical owner for the solution delivered, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

The role builds trusted relationships with relevant customer stakeholders, takes responsibility for gathering business and technical requirements, translates them into an architecture and technical strategy, evaluates the required consulting effort, and delivers the required outcomes.

In addition to technology expertise, the Senior Consultant understands customer business drivers and can explain and champion the business benefits of proposed solutions.

While supporting customers across Europe, this is a customer-facing role with particular emphasis on the BeNeLux region. The position is in Amsterdam or Brussels to provide effective proximity to key BeNeLux customers, enable in-person workshops and stakeholder engagement, and support timely collaboration with local sales and delivery teams.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Support European customer engagements, with a specific focus on BeNeLux customers and opportunities.
  • Drive technical discussions during presales engagements and support business development by positioning relevant business services and multi-vendor solutions.
  • Lead the design team assigned to customer projects and provide technical leadership in a matrix, multinational environment.

  • Articulate service strategies, including refinement, refresh, change, and optimization, within the relevant digital domain.
  • Engage and partner with customers to jointly develop architectures that match their requirements and constraints.
  • Produce customized architecture standards and complex design documents.
  • Design and promote infrastructure automation approaches using infrastructure as code, configuration management, version control, peer review, testing, controlled promotion, rollback, and operational validation.
  • Ensuring security is considered from the earliest design stages of network and cloud architectures, rather than added after deployment.
  • Apply practical secure-by-design principles across areas such as network segmentation, identity, secrets handling, and threat assessment.
  • Collaborate with delivery, engineering, cloud, and security teams to ensure that designs are implementable, supportable, and aligned with customer requirements.
