Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Contractual Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, stability, and operational readiness of an on-premise ERP system built with Laravel (monolith). This role focuses on environment setup, deployment automation, system reliability, and documentation, not feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain on-premise server environments
• Deploy and manage Laravel monolith application, web servers (Nginx / Apache / IIS), and database servers
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration and secrets management
• Ensure system stability, backup and recovery strategies, and repeatable deployment procedures
• Assist with local integrations (printing services, device helpers if required) and production go-live preparation
• Create clear deployment and operational documentation

About you

• Experience with on-premise infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and web server configuration
• Experience deploying Laravel applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
• Containerization (Docker preferred but optional)
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Ability to work independently and document setups clearly
• Nice to have: Experience supporting manufacturing or enterprise systems
• Nice to have: Exposure to ERP environments
• Nice to have: Database performance tuning experience
