Infrastructure Engineer Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

Ensures operation performance parameters as imposed, integrity and security of systems

Supports Network Core, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPNs, Wireless Access Points and other associated equipment

To administer a range of platforms that largely comprises industry standard components

To ensure connectivity to remote sites

Provide supervision of other staff on medium size and complexity projects

Develop technical diagrams and documentation

Lead efforts to rack and stack and install equipment in any company location including enterprise data centers

Manage, Design and implement I.T

Health check and monitoring I.T

Helpdesk and day-to-day maintenance related to I.T

CCNA(Cisco certified network associate) or CCNP(Cisco certified network professional) or CCIE(Cisco certified internetworking Expert) qualification

Knowledge and hand-on experience in managing VMWare 5.0 or above, Hyper-V, Windows2003 & 2008 servers, Lunix, knowledge in AS400 is a plus

Knowledge and hand-on Firewall, Webproxy, SSLVPN, Cisco layer2 & 3 switches, Fiber switches

Knowledge in different network cables and connectors standards, network topology
