Infrastructure Engineer

• Supervise and manage infrastructure construction activities, including roads, drainage, stormwater networks, sewerage, water supply, utility networks, and associated civil works.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, project managers, site engineers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and project timelines.
• Coordinate excavation, backfilling, earthworks, compaction, roadworks, kerbstone installation, paving, and reinstatement works.
• Oversee the installation and testing of underground utilities, pipelines, manholes, chambers, and related infrastructure systems.
• Ensure compliance with approved quality standards, inspection and test plans, and project specifications.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and relevant UAE authorities, as applicable to the project.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site inspection requests, material inspection requests, and other required project documentation.
• Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and potential delays, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor performance to ensure efficient site operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental requirements and approved project procedures.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to project management.
• Support quantity measurements, material requirements, and verification of completed works for interim payment applications.
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and handover of completed infrastructure works.

3. Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, utilities, or other infrastructure works.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction practices, technical specifications, and authority approval procedures relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, construction plans, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of project planning software is an advantage.
• Strong site supervision, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence is preferred, where required for site duties.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
