INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER (IT) - CONTRACT

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user systems. The role ensures the availability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and cloud environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.

Support system installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

Administer user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.

Perform routine system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery activities.

Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with IT policies.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment, maintenance, and support.

Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and technical issues.

Provide technical assistance to end users and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or network support.

Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and cloud technologies.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
