- Partner with CloudOps, SRE, Security, Identity Management, and Engineering teams to ensure platform adoption and operational readiness.
- Create architecture documentation, design records, runbooks, onboarding materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Ensure all infrastructure and configuration are delivered as code while adhering to security and governance standards.
- Support platform upgrades, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps experience.
- Hands-on delivery of at least one production Backstage implementation.
- Strong experience configuring Backstage software catalogs, scaffolder templates, TechDocs, search, permissions, and platform upgrades.
- Experience developing applications and services using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Strong AWS experience including EKS, IAM, IRSA, RDS PostgreSQL, S3, networking, and multi-account environments.
- Hands-on Kubernetes administration and deployment experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tooling.
- Familiarity with GitHub Apps, containerization technologies, and release automation.
