Infrastructure Engineer Lead - Exchange & Productivity Services

For our client, we are seeking a Infrastructure Engineer Lead - Exchange & Productivity Services to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

In this remote leadership role, you will guide the design, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure that underpins critical productivity and messaging services. The position combines hands-on technical problem solving with standards enforcement, incident response, and cross-functional partnership to keep highly available systems secure, scalable, and reliable. You will also help shape automation and service delivery improvements while mentoring engineers and supporting broader architecture efforts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $127,310 – $243,340 annually

Responsibilities

• Guide the design and enforcement of standards for complex IT infrastructure.
• Lead resolution of production issues and oversee troubleshooting of multi-system solutions.
• Provide real-time support for major incidents involving messaging and productivity services.
• Collaborate with architecture teams on technical requirements and lab testing.
• Identify and implement process improvements for service delivery automation.
• Mentor engineers in design, development, and system maintenance.
• Monitor and assign work under management direction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure engineering with expertise in Microsoft Exchange Online and hybrid environments.
• 2+ years in technical leadership roles mentoring engineering teams.
• Advanced troubleshooting across Microsoft 365, networking, and security technologies.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, secure enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of messaging architecture and service dependencies.
