Infrastructure Engineer - Network Specialist

The Infrastructure Engineer is a technical execution role responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's server landscape, with a strong focus on Linux operating systems and cloud environments. This individual ensures high system availability, manages rigorous patch cycles, executes robust backup strategies, and resolves technical incidents to minimize downtime. The role plays a vital part in maintaining the stability of both on-premise and cloud infrastructure to support continuous business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high availability and uptime for servers and mission-critical services, ensuring systems operate reliably to support business functions.
• Install, configure, and maintain server infrastructure, with a specific focus on managing and optimizing Linux operating systems.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems associated with server hardware, operating systems, and applications to ensure Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) targets are met.
• Support the migration of on-premise servers to cloud environments and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure maximum stability and scalability.
• Execute the creation, configuration, and administration of new servers to fulfill business requirements efficiently.
• Implement strict patch management protocols to ensure all servers are up-to-date and secure against vulnerabilities.
• Manage backup operations to achieve high success rates and ensure Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) are strictly met during disaster recovery tests or actual incidents.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements or projects that significantly enhance the efficiency and sustainability of IT operations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or Server Management.
• Strong proficiency in Linux Operating Systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting) is essential.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and Virtualization technologies.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve incidents within Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php83,000.00 per month
