Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for an experienced People Manager / Technical Manager with a strong background in Python automation, Ansible, Linux administration, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with people leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, ensuring productivity, performance, and career development.
• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage automation workflows using Ansible, Ansible Playbooks, and Ansible Tower/AWX.
• Provide technical leadership for Linux-based environments, troubleshooting system and application issues.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational activities and improve reliability.
• Work with monitoring and observability tools to identify performance issues, system failures, and operational risks.
• Monitor infrastructure/application health and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Application, and Engineering teams to improve system reliability.
• Define operational processes, standards, and best practices for automation and infrastructure management.
• Handle escalations and participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Track team performance, conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support individual development plans.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
• Prepare operational metrics, reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong People Management / Team Management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Playbooks.
• Good experience with Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure/application monitoring, alerts, logs, and incident management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
