Infrastructure Manager - Immediate Start (6 Months Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities professional to support day-to-day infrastructure and facilities management, as well as facility improvement and project-related activities. This opportunity would suit a Senior Facilities Engineer, Senior Facilities Executive or Assistant Facilities Manager who is ready to take on broader responsibilities and is comfortable with a 6-month contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day facilities and building operations.
• Oversee M&E / building services maintenance and ensure facilities are operating effectively.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage contractors, vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate facilities upgrading, improvement and minor project works.
• Support project planning, quotations, budgeting, scheduling and implementation.
• Liaise with internal users, contractors, consultants and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety and completion.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and defect rectification where required.
• Ensure works comply with safety, regulatory and organisational requirements.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related discipline.
• Around 5–10 years of relevant Facilities Management / Building Services experience.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, ACMV/HVAC and general building facilities.
• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors and maintenance activities.
• Exposure to facilities upgrading, renovation, improvement or project works.
• Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage works independently.
• Experience in research facilities, laboratories, institutional buildings, manufacturing, healthcare, commercial buildings or similar environments would be advantageous.
• Must be comfortable with a 6-month contract position.
• Immediate or short-notice candidates would be advantageous.
