Infrastructure System Engineer

🚨 Infrastructure Systems Engineer | $120K–$140K + Bonus | Hyrbid

I’m working with a leading professional services organisation that is looking to add an Infrastructure Systems Engineer to their team.

This is a hands-on infrastructure role covering on-prem, cloud and virtualised environments , with a strong focus on reliability, automation and troubleshooting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage physical & virtual servers across on-prem and cloud environments
• Support VMware/virtualisation infrastructure
• Manage patching, backups, monitoring and system performance
• Troubleshoot server hardware, software and networking issues
• Work closely with Information Security on access, updates and automation
• Maintain technical documentation and asset management
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

What they’re looking for:

• 3+ years of relevant Infrastructure/System Administration experience (5+ preferred)
• Strong Windows Server administration experience
• VMware or similar virtualisation experience
• Experience with server hardware, storage and networking
• Scripting/automation experience
• Experience with Dell and/or Pure Storage is highly desirable
• Linux experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
