Infrastructure Underground Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Underground Mining Supervisor / Project Engineer to join a high-performing mining operation on a long-term basis. This role will be responsible for supporting underground mining activities, coordinating contractors, driving operational readiness, and ensuring safe and efficient project delivery in a dynamic underground environment.

Working closely with site leadership and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in mine development, infrastructure execution, planning activities, and day-to-day operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee underground mining and development activities.
• Manage underground contractors and multidisciplinary work teams.
• Support mine planning, scheduling and operational readiness initiatives.
• Monitor project progress, productivity and performance against targets.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures and legislation.
• Liaise with operational, technical, commercial and corporate stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks while driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required quality standards.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering, relevant mining diploma, or extensive underground hard rock mining experience.
• Experience within underground mining operations, mine development or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing contractors and site-based teams.
• Strong understanding of mine planning, scheduling and operational execution.
• Ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of mining legislation, safety standards and industry best practice.
• Current hands-on experience within an underground mining environment.
• WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate / Statutory Section 26 (S26) Certificate highly regarded but not essential.
