Infrastructure/Systems Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Infrastructure/Systems Engineer with strong Windows, Linux, Microsoft, Proxmox, and end-user/client support experience.

This role will be supporting the company Polaris Wireless.

The ideal candidate should have experience with:

• Desktop and laptop support for Windows and Mac users
• End-user support for Outlook, Microsoft 365, VPN, printers, software, hardware, and connectivity issues
• User account management, permissions, password resets, MFA, and access troubleshooting
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
• Linux server administration, troubleshooting, patching, and maintenance
• Proxmox VE, VMware, and other virtualization platforms
• Server hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle management
• Desktop/laptop support for Windows and basic Mac environments
• Microsoft Outlook, Office/M365, user accounts, permissions, and authentication issues
• Client/end-user troubleshooting for hardware, software, VPN, network, and connectivity issues
• Basic networking, VLANs, routing, firewalls, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Data center rack/stack, cabling, migrations, and infrastructure support
• Backup, monitoring, security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Supporting Engineering and application teams with infrastructure requirements
• Documentation, ticket management, and change-management processes

We need someone who is very hands-on, customer-focused, and able to work independently, supporting both our data center/server infrastructure and day-to-day employee/client IT support needs.
