INJECTION MOLD TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Machine Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection mold machines to produce high-quality rigid plastic packaging. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of the production process, meeting quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our production operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain injection mould machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
2. Daily Production Report (DPR): Update and maintain the Daily Production Report on a daily basis, documenting key production metrics and activities.
3. Document Management: Maintain and update documents for audit purposes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4. Defect Analysis: Conduct analysis on internal defects and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions to improve product quality.
5. New Mold Trials: Participate in new mold trials and validation processes, ensuring successful implementation and production.
6. Process Optimization: Drive process simplification, standardization, and optimization initiatives to improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
7. Troubleshooting: Attend to machine troubles and oversee regular mold start-ups, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
8. Rejection Control: Implement measures to control and reduce rejected products, working towards continuous improvement in rejection rates.
9. Safety Promotion: Adhere to safe working environment at all times, follow safety protocols and encouraging a safety-first culture.

Qualifications:

1. Vocational Graduate (Trade School) Machine Shop
2. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in Injection, PET Stretch Blow Mold, Extrusion Blow moulding in a Machine Shop Dept.
3. Comprehensive experience in all three moulding technologies (Injection, PET Stretch Blow Mold, and Extrusion Blow moulding) is required.
4. Able to assemble and disassemble injection molds, blow moulds (PET and EBM)
5. Can perform minor repair works
6. Self-motivated and team player
7. Can operate lathe machine and milling machine
8. Knowledgeable in Safety operation & maintenance of Arc welding machine and other machine shape equipment, tools and others
