About the Role As an Injection Mold Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently by setting up molds, optimizing machine performance, and ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained. You'll play a vital role in reducing downtime, improving production efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility. What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Setting up and changing injection molds safely and efficiently Installing and securing molds using overhead cranes and lifting equipment Optimising machine parameters to maximise production efficiency and product quality Troubleshooting molding defects such as flash, sink marks, short shots, and warping Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on molds and production equipment Monitoring production quality and making process adjustments where required Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste Working closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll have: A technical qualification in Plastics Processing, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Proven experience with injection molding machines and mold changeovers Strong understanding of thermoplastic materials and injection molding processes Experience adjusting machine parameters to improve production performance Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently while maintaining high production standards Advantageous Experience Preventative maintenance experience Continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing exposure Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments Candidate Requirements South African citizen Willing and able to relocate to Belgium Valid passport (or willing to obtain one) Good Afrikaans proficiency is essential Strong technical mindset with excellent attention to detail What's On Offer Competitive European salary Permanent employment with a leading international manufacturer Employer-sponsored relocation and immigration support Modern manufacturing facility with advanced injection molding technology Ongoing technical training and career development Stable long-term employment Supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement Excellent opportunities for career growth and technical specialization Ready to Build Your Career in Europe?
