Injection Molding Machine Operator 1st & 3rd shift

Job Summary
We are seeking an Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our first and third shift manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tending injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, hand-held precision measuring devices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Tend injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks as needed.

Skills

• Manufacturing experience. Plastics injection molding a plus.
• Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments.
• Basic math skills for calculations related to production metrics.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• manufacturing : 2 years (Required)
• Precision measuring instruments: 1 year (Preferred)
