Injection Molding Process Tech

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED , can read and understand English , and possesses at least 5 years of injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment . They should have hands-on experience operating injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment, performing machine setups, mold changes, and process adjustments. A strong understanding of molding processes, materials, quality standards, and manufacturing documentation is required, along with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and accurately maintain production and quality records. The candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be eligible to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Minimum of five (5) years of injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating injection molding presses and related auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, process sheets, production schedules, and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Experience performing machine setups, mold changes, and process adjustments.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot molding processes and equipment.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.

Must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time.

Must be able to climb stairs.

Must be able to reach 6-7 ft., with stool.

Must possess visual acuity.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Must be able to use a torque wrench, with variances of 90 / 150 ft. lbs.

Must be able to bend and stoop.

Must be able to work in excessive heat.
