Injection Molding Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team for Night Shift. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality plastic components through precise operation and maintenance of injection molding machines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing processes, and familiarity with quality inspection standards. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily injection molding operations across assigned shifts
• Lead, train, and motivate machine operators, technicians, and support staff
• Ensure molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment are set up and running efficiently
• Monitor process parameters and adjust as needed to maintain product quality and cycle times
• Troubleshoot molding defects, equipment issues, and production delays
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are met
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and company procedures
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Production Planning teams
• Review production reports, scrap rates, downtime, and corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, scrap reduction)
• Ensure proper documentation of processes, work instructions, and shift handovers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in injection molding operations
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling
• Experience with process troubleshooting, setup, and optimization
• Familiarity with quality standards, SPC, and production metrics
• Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
