Injection Molding Technician

Job Purpose: Set Up plastic injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment as specified by Engineering. Troubleshoot process related problems as needed. Support the supervision of production associates.

Nature of Duties:

• Machine & Mold Setup
• Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and connect auxiliary equipment.
• Process Monitoring & Adjustment
• Monitor runs, make real-time adjustments to maintain quality, and document changes.
• Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, molds, materials, or processes to prevent defects.
• Quality Control Inspect parts for defects, ensuring they meet internal and external standards.
• Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and report needed repairs on molds and equipment.
• Safety & Housekeeping Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout) and maintain a clean work area (5S).

What You'll Bring

• 2 Year Technical Degree or Enrolled in a technical class or equivalent related experience
• 2 years experience as a Manufacturing Technician a plus
• Must have a strong electrical aptitude with the ability to work with vendors and suppliers.
• Strong and appropriate influencing skills and flexible work ethic is important.
• CAD Platforms. Solid Works, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Pro Engineering
