Injection Molding Technician

Stevanato Group is seeking a Process Technician to support injection molding operations. This role performs mold setups and startups, troubleshoots molding processes, and provides technical support to Production, Engineering, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups, pulls, startups, and shutdowns according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot molding processes and supporting equipment to identify root causes.
• Support mold validations under the guidance of Process Engineering.
• Audit and document molding processes and maintain setup documentation.
• Inspect parts at the start and end of each shift to verify they meet customer requirements.
• Reduce scrap, maintain efficient cycle times, and improve mold changeover times.
• Work with Maintenance, Tooling, and Quality to improve equipment reliability and mold performance.
• Train and support Molding Technicians and Material Handlers.
• Communicate status of molds, machines, projects, and production runs to other shifts, Production Leads, and the Senior Process Engineer.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with injection molding processes and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of mold designs including cold runner, hot runner, core pull, slides, and unscrewing molds
• Knowledge of resins, mold setup requirements, and secondary, ancillary, and automation equipment
