Injection Moulding Machine Operator

RP Technologies, based in Kingswinford in the West Midlands, specialises in low-medium volume aluminium tooling and injection moulding.

Since its inception in 2005, the company has gone from strength-to-strength and now employs nearly 50 members of staff at its head office on the Pensnett Trading Estate.

We are currently looking to grow our expanding team by recruiting a Machine Operator.

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating an injection moulding machine which produces plastic components. You will be expected to run the machine consistently within a set time and then inspect the components produced. Secondary operations will also be needed prior to packing. These may include the trimming of components and also the fitting of inserts.

The successful candidate must also have an eye for detail as quality is at the heart of what we do. Experience in a similar role would be preferred, but it is not an essential requirement, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Make adjustments to machines as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

The role is full time, permanent, Monday-Friday only.
