Injection Process Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Design, establish, and fine-tune injection molding parameters to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues to minimize scrap rates and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Manage mold trials and scale-up processes, including the creation of technical process sheets.
• Engineering Excellence: Apply techniques like Scientific Molding, Mold Flow Analysis, Lean, or Six Sigma to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Tooling, and Quality departments to meet production timelines and quality targets.

Key Personal Skills and Attributes:

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of polymer resins, plastic properties, and injection mold mechanics.
• Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in problem-solving, data analysis, and statistical tools to drive process improvements.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with injection simulation software (e.g., Moldflow) or CAD/CAM tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically requires 3–7 years of experience in an injection molding environment.
• Good in spoken and written English.
