Shape the future growth of one of New Zealand's leading FMCG businesses.

This isn't a traditional innovation role. It's an opportunity to identify where future growth will come from, build a pipeline of consumer-led innovation, and bring commercially successful products to market. The business is large and complex. You'll need to back your influencing skills and be calm under pressure.

Working across Retail, Foodservice and Private Label, you'll partner with Marketing, R&D, Commercial, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to turn consumer insights into products that customers want and the business can win with.

You'll identify emerging consumer and market opportunities, develop compelling business cases, and lead innovation projects from concept through to the finished product. Along the way, you'll champion best-practice innovation, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and help shape the long-term growth strategy of the business.

About you

You'll have experience delivering innovation or new product development within a branded FMCG business and know how to take ideas from concept through to successful launch. You'll ideally be degree qualified in Marketing, Business, Food Science or a related discipline, or have equivalent relevant experience.

You're commercially astute, naturally curious and confident influencing people across multiple functions. Most importantly, you enjoy solving problems, creating new opportunities and turning great ideas into commercial success.
